Plaster square adapted to today's standards

Hultafors - Global

Hultafors has taken a further step to simplify the workday of the craftsmen by broadening the range of squares. The latest addition to the market is the Plaster Square PS 90. The tool is a square that is adapted to today's requirements and rules.

"As the market have tightened the demands and craftsmen on larger construction places are not allowed to handle plaster boards that is 1200 mm wide, we saw a need to offer a shorter length of our existing adjustable plaster square (PS 120)," says Hultafors Product Manager Per Eriksson.

Developed with professional users

Only real professionals know what the professionals need, that's why we've listened to our users who have given us input that they want a 900 mm long plaster square. The need for a shorter square is that in many larger construction places it is not allowed to work with plasterboards 1200 mm wide due to their weight. Therefore, the professional users have been involved in the development of Hultafors new Plaster Square PS 90.

Same functionality – new look

The tool can be described as functional, easy to handle and stable when cutting plasterboards. Just like the PS 120, the PS 90 can be folded, making it easy to carry, store and transport. Both the PS 90 and PS 120 have got a new updated and modern look, which means the scale is easier to read.

"We are constantly working on developing our products to facilitate the workday for professional users and of course, we want to be at the forefront of working environment issues. We also took the opportunity to improve the reading of angles on the scale. Hence the new look," Per continues.
