We have selected ten tools from our range that clearly represent Hultafors and our design philosophy. Tools that were innovative in their time and that are still relevant both in design and use.

The Hultafors Åby Axe

A genuine hybrid axe that adapts to the job at hand, big or small. Hand-forged from Swedish steel at our Hults Bruk works, which hails back to 1697. Our Åby Axe is a timeless tool in a modern guise.

The original from 1883. With a timeless and iconic design, it marked the launch of Hultafors. Then as now, made from downy birch with Swedish steel joints. Today there are about 10 different models in various materials.

The Hultafors Wrecking Bar Adjustable

The wrecking bar with an adjustable claw. It has nine different settings, allowing the best working ergonomics. Made from high-quality steel, it has a well thought-out design for easy nail extraction. Winner of the Red Dot Award 2012.

The Hultafors Chisel HDC

Forged from a single piece for extreme breaking strength, and the blade places flat onto the surface. Designed for demolition as well as fine carpentry. Winner of the Red Dot Award 2015 for good product design.

The Hultafors Claw Hammer TC

It has a well-balanced, ergonomic design for a secure grip. Forged in a single piece, with a vibration damping urethane plug to reduce load and stress to the body. A much-loved tool that won the Red Dot Award in 2008.

The Hultafors Marking Measure Talmeter

Like many of our tools, the Talmeter tape measure was developed to make a job simpler. With a focus on function and precision, the Talmeter easily measures and marks both internal and external lengths.

The Hultafors Nail Puller Atle

Despite its modest size, this tool will easily pull out a 5-inch nail. With a design as simple as it is ingenious and user-friendly, this will even pull out a nail when the head is off.

The Hultafors Spirit Level MST 180

This is our most sensitive spirit level, an invaluable tool on any work site and one that well deserves its iconic status. The level is housed in a sturdy aluminium profile, with temperature-resistant vial attachments and crush-proof block vials.

The Hultafors Handsaw HBX

An updated version of the classic foxtail saw, developed together with professional users. It has a unique blade guard that’s easy to attach and detach with one hand – one of the reasons why it won the Red Dot Award 2015.

The Hultafors Pry Bar Aluminium

One of our lightweight pry bars, made from high-tech aluminium with a hardened, high-alloy boron steel point. Better and easier for the user, while it can also take three times the load of a steel pry bar without permanent deformation. A definite Hultafors icon!
